Bidirectional Steel-plastic Geogrid
Bidirectional steel-plastic grid is a premium geosynthetic reinforced material created through a high-tech process, combining high-strength steel wire ropes or wire bundles with polypropylene (PP) or high-density polyethylene (HDPE). It utilizes ultra-high-strength steel wire as its core load-bearing framework, with an extruded plastic coating providing protection and weld points. These wires are arranged at specific intervals in both the longitudinal and transverse directions and ultrasonically welded to form a robust grid structure. This unique composite structure combines the high strength and modulus of steel with the excellent corrosion resistance of plastic, providing the ultimate reinforcement solution for the most demanding projects.

Product Description
Glass fiber has the advantages of high strength, high modulus, and corrosion resistance. Its strength is higher than that of steel, but its weight is only about one-fourth of that of steel. Glass fiber also has good corrosion resistance and can be used for a long time in harsh environments such as acid, alkali, and salt.

It is woven from glass fiber through warp knitting technology and has the characteristic of bi-directional force.

Its main advantages include:

High tensile strength: It has excellent tensile performance in both directions, which can effectively enhance the stability of soil.

Low elongation: Small deformation under stress, ensuring the stability and reliability of the project.

Strong corrosion resistance: able to maintain good performance in various harsh environments.

Good compatibility with soil: able to tightly bond with the surrounding soil and work together.

There are many application scenarios for bidirectional fiberglass woven geogrids:

Foundation treatment: used to reinforce weak foundations and improve their bearing capacity.

Retaining wall engineering: Enhance the stability of the soil behind the retaining wall and reduce the deformation of the wall.

Slope protection: prevent soil erosion and landslides on the slope.
